The first G13 academy in Colorado is open on the I-25 frontage road. There are two ways to start: take a free intro class and see if it is for you, or become one of the 50 founding members and lock a rate that never goes up. Adults, teens and kids from age four.
One costs nothing and answers the question. The other costs less every month, for as long as you train.

G13 isn’t a startup gym. It’s one of the most respected names in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on earth: a proven methodology, a real belt system, and a culture forged across two decades. For the first time, that standard is on a mat in Colorado. As a founder, you’re not joining an experiment. You’re joining a legacy in its first year.
It started in 1992 in a small room behind a house in São Paulo. From those roots, Master Roberto Godoi, a 6th-degree black belt with over 30 years on the mats, built G13 into a worldwide institution founded in 2013.
Every G13 academy teaches the same proven system: structured curriculum, a clear belt pathway, and a culture of discipline and accountability. Colorado is no different.

The academy in Longmont is new. The system is not. These are G13 Cary and G13 Holly Springs in North Carolina, where the curriculum, the belt pathway and the standard for the room come from.

A room is only as good as the people standing in it. Here is who is standing in this one.
Kadu is our featured black belt athlete, and he is G13. He did not come to us from outside the family, he came up inside it, under the same system and the same standard this room is built on. Over forty titles, a Pan-American championship won at fourteen, and back to back NAGA Philadelphia titles. Having that level of jiu-jitsu in the room raises the standard for everyone who trains here, from the very first class on.
Mike came to jiu-jitsu from Division One college athletics and a career as a Marine officer. He is a brown belt, and he won the Masters 5 Open Class world title as a blue belt. He and Lori built a school around its community once before, and they are doing it again here for Longmont and the towns around it.
Lori runs G13 Colorado alongside Mike. She is a mental performance coach and a former collegiate All-American gymnast, so she knows the sport side from the inside. Mind Over Athlete is her own practice, and it is where the harder half of jiu-jitsu gets dealt with: the nerves, the bad weeks, the voice that says you do not belong here yet.

Friday evenings are intentionally closed.
Teens 14–17 train in adult classes on approval. The schedule keeps adjusting as the room grows.
